Dexter Community Garden & Farmers' Market

(620) 876-7323

Things go fast, so come early - especially pies! We have several Teens who have booths as well as adults. Our Farmers Market and Community Garden is sponsored by Eastern Cowley County Resource Center. We grow a children and teen garden at the site. Other products range from hand-made wooden small furniture to jewelry to canning and garden produce. We host a children's "Mobile Library" at the site - from Lighthouse Library where we give away books, provide samples of fruits and cookies, and have simple craft time. There is ice tea, coffee, and cinnamon rolls most times. People bring a lawn chair and hang out after they make their purchases. There is a pumpkin patch at the site and a children's garden nearby at the library.
