Brown Sugar-Glazed Pork Chops

4 - 1” thick, center-cut pork loin chops (I adore R Family Farms Pork from Lebanon, Ks) 

1/2 cup kosher salt 

3/4 cup dark brown sugar

3 cups hot water 

4 sprigs fresh rosemary

1/3 cup good olive oil

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar 

6 whole garlic cloves, smashed 

Zest and juice of 2 lemons

Pan-Fried Pizza Margherita 


1 cup plain greek yogurt 

1-1/2 cups self-rising flour

 Combine yogurt and 1 cup flour in a large mixing bowl; mix until combined, adding remaining 1/2 cup flour a little at a time until dough comes together and isn't sticky. 

 Place dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead by hand for 1-2 minutes.

March was quite the celebration for Agriculture! Kansas Ag Day was March 20th and was held during Kansas Ag Month and on National Ag Day. The Kansas Department of Agriculture kicked off Kansas Agriculture month on March 5 with the Neighbor to Neighbor statewide food drive in partnership with Harvesters-The Community Food Bank in Topeka, Kansas. These efforts supported reducing hunger in Kansas communities.
