Catawba Wine Spritzers 

1 bottle Smoky Hill Vineyards, Pink Catawba

Fresh strawberries, stemmed and halves

Lemon slices 

Fresh mint leaves 

Club Soda


To prepare spritzers, place 2-3 strawberries into each wine glass with a lemon slice; muddle until juicy.

Stuffed BBQ Meatloaf 

2 lbs. lean ground beef 

1 lb. ground pork 

1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

1/4 cup milk 

1 tsp. granulated onion

3 garlic cloves, crushed 

2 eggs, beaten 

1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce

3 Tbs. Wellers Whiskey

1 Tbs. Chef Alli's Steak Seasoning (or substitute your favorite)

1 - 9" pre-baked pie crust, homemade or store-purchased 

1/3 cup all-purpose flour 

1/2 tsp. kosher salt 

2 cups whole milk

3 egg yolks, beaten 

2 Tbs. unsalted butter 

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1-2 Tbs. bourbon

You will love this fresh and bright Chimichurri sauce paired with the savory, rich flavors of Kansas beef.

2-4 flat iron steaks, well brushed with peanut or vegetable oil and seasoned with kosher salt and pepper (I love to use Mushrush Family Meats beef - its aged 21 days!) 

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Preheat a well-seasoned 12" cast iron skillet over medium high heat.

2 - 10 oz. bags mini marshmallows
5 cups crispy rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
3 cups Prairie Harvest Peppernuts, traditional flavor, partially crushed (may substitute Golden Grahams cereal, if needed)
